2 cups liquid (water, orange juice, etc)
½ – 1 cup of sugar (depending on which fruit you are using)
2 cups fruit puree
Pinch of salt
2-3 tbsp lemon juice (unless using citrus fruit or juice)
- In a saucepan, combine liquid and sugar and bring to boil stirring from time to time. Make sure the sugar has dissolved. Cool.
- Stir in fruit puree
- Transfer to the ice cream machine and follow manufacturer’s instructions or follow these instructions for making ice cream without a machine.
